This Privacy Policy explains how Marife Gerodias handles information in connection with Clapback AI (the "App").

01Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to information processed through the App. It does not apply to third-party services, including wallet providers, blockchain networks, app stores, device manufacturers, or AI model providers, except as described here.

02Information We Process

Depending on how you use the App, the following categories of information may be processed:

A. Text you provide

When you paste or type content into the App for response generation, that text is processed to generate AI-based output.

B. Generated content

The App generates replies, analysis, and related output based on your input. That output may be stored locally on your device as part of history or favorites.

C. Wallet-related information

If you connect a Solana-compatible wallet, the App may process:

your public wallet address;
wallet authorization tokens or session data needed to maintain wallet connection locally on device;
basic wallet connection status.

We do not claim ownership of your wallet, seed phrase, or private keys. Private keys and seed phrases are not requested by the App.

D. Device-stored preferences

The App may store local settings and app state, such as:

language choice;
default platform, style, and intensity settings;
history and favorites;
wallet connection state;
app appearance preferences.

E. Network and service data

When you use AI generation features, your request and related metadata may be sent to DeepSeek or other configured processing services required for the feature to work.

03How We Use Information

We use information only as reasonably necessary to:

provide the App's core features;
generate suggested response text;
save local history, settings, and favorites;
connect to supported Solana wallet providers;
maintain app functionality, security, and reliability;
comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

04Where Data Is Stored

Based on the App's current design:

generation history, favorites, settings, and wallet connection state are stored locally on your device;
text submitted for AI generation is transmitted to the AI service provider needed to return results;
blockchain activity, if any, may be recorded publicly on the Solana blockchain or visible through wallet providers and blockchain infrastructure.

We do not sell personal information.

We may share or disclose information only in these limited circumstances:

with AI service providers, such as DeepSeek, to process your prompt and return output;
with wallet providers or wallet connection infrastructure when you choose to connect a wallet;
with service providers or infrastructure providers as needed to operate the App;
when required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request;
to protect rights, security, integrity, users, or the public;
in connection with a business transfer, if legally applicable.

06Public Blockchain Notice

If you use wallet-connected or blockchain-related features, information associated with a public wallet address and on-chain activity may be public, permanent, and visible to others. Blockchain records generally cannot be deleted or modified by us.

07Data Minimization

We aim to process only the information reasonably necessary to provide the App's functions. You should avoid entering sensitive personal information into the App unless necessary and appropriate.

08Data Security

We use reasonable measures designed to protect information processed by the App. However, no method of transmission, storage, or electronic security is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Because the App relies on third-party services and public blockchain infrastructure, some processing occurs outside our direct control.

09Retention

Retention depends on the type of information:

local history, settings, and favorites remain on your device until you delete them, uninstall the App, or clear app data;
wallet connection state remains until you disconnect, clear app data, or uninstall the App;
information sent to third-party providers is retained according to their policies;
on-chain data may persist indefinitely on public blockchains.

10Your Choices and Rights

Depending on applicable law and your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or object to certain processing of your information.

Within the current App design, you may generally:

clear stored history from the App;
uninstall the App or clear device app data;
disconnect or stop using wallet-related features;
stop using AI generation features.

We may need to verify your request and may limit responses where permitted by law.

11Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information through the App, contact us and we will review the matter.

12International Processing

Third-party providers used by the App may process data in countries outside the Philippines. By using the App, you understand that information may be processed in jurisdictions with different data protection rules.

13Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we do, we will post the updated version with a revised effective date.
